The DGR museum is well equipped to provide all the information about groundnut cultivation, which acts as a ready reckoner for the farmers/technical persons visiting our Institute. The Museum has a floor area of 735 sq. ft. The Museum displays recently released groundnut varieties suitable for Kharif and Rabi-summer seasons for various parts of the country. The museum also has two backlit rolling fabric display systems, which depicts about different sections of the institute and nutrient management practices in groundnut respectively. The Museum also exhibits visually treating images of different pests, diseases and nutritional disorders associated with groundnut. The museum also parades various groundnut products like peanut butter, peanut roasted kernals, peanut chikki, peanut halwa, peanut burfi, peanut chocolate, peanut flakes, peanut balls, peanut oil etc., The museum also demonstrates and showcases different technologies developed in the institute like NutMagic, NutGrow, NutBoost, Sal Guard, Drought Guard and recently released high value oleic acid groundnut varieties like Girnar-4 and Girnar-5. The Museum also shows different AICRPG (All-India co-ordinated research project on groundnut) centres located across the country. The museum also colorfully reveals different technologically-superior nutrient and water management practices in groundnut. The Museum is a must-see for those involved/associated with groundnut farming and business
