ICAR-Directorate of Groundnut Research has organized Field day cum exhibition on “Groundnut based technologies” on 25.02.2022 under SCSP. In this program around 50 SC farmers from Achhidra village, Maliya Thaluka, Junagadh District had participated. Dr. Harish G was Convener, Shri Ananth Kurella was Co-convener, Dr Kiran Kumar Reddy and Dr. Papa Rao were members of this program. Lectures were organised on High oleic and improved varieties of groundnut (by Kona Praveen), Bio fertilizers for groundut (by K K Pal), Irrigation and nutrient management in groundnut (by Kiran Kumar Reddy) and Insect pest and disease management in groundnut (by Harish G). Director DGR gave the concluding remarks and distributed the farm kits to the SC farmers.
